What Does “Getting It” Mean, Anyway?

While my trip to Australia this last week and a half was primarily pleasure with my family, I did get a few days to work with teachers in Brisbane and throughout Victoria (a la our PLP cohort there), and I had some great conversations about the state of the education world with some good friends. Playing with Metaplace

New to me, this reminds me of Second Life, yet not the scary side of Second Life. I am still learning, but I see amazing possibilities. <iframe width=”640″ height=”540″ src=”https://www.metaplace.com/remote/embedsimple/megormis_World” style=”border: 0; margin: 0; padding: 0; overflow: hidden;” frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” scrollbar=”no”></iframe>

If I had a million dollars...*start singing!

The more classrooms I see, the more money I see spent on "technology"...I'm just gonna throw it out there...
All you need is:
Showerboard on the wall, Document Camera, Laptop and projector..
Sure it would be nice to have more bells and whistles (flip cameras, etc..) but you can successfully educate the students using these tools.

How To Write A Commendable GCSE Coursework?

Coursework writing is really not a peanut as I took it in the beginning when I was assigned a college coursework. It was really tough to find coursework help, even online coursework help. But you know internet is a magical world, sooner or later you come to the right place. So did I when I started searching online coursework help. But it took a lot of time of mine to find the exact material for writing my college coursework.

It is very essential to have the correct guidelines for writing… Continue

It's That Time of Year!

October typically marks the start of my conference season, and this year has been no exception. If you've glanced at my schedule in the left sidebar, you may have noticed that I started with a new conference, at least for me, ITEC, in Iowa. Even a new conference, though, means some of the same familiar faces.

After you've put in time doing conferences for several years, it becomes apparent that there is a hard-core of presenters who make the rounds year after year. I'm not referring to the Keyn… Continue

College Essay Vs Personal Statement

Usually colleges have their own guidelines when it comes to college essay for admission or personal statements. It depends on what the actual college requires. You should consider that the colleges look at more than just college essays for admission statements; they look at your grades, GPA, class standing, extracurricular activities, and school service before the… Continue

Here we go again

And It Starts Again!
If it's Fall, I must be getting ready for the next round of Ed-Tech conferences again! So far, I have six conferences on my schedule for Fall/Winter. I'm expecting a few more opportunities to present themselves by the time Spring rolls around, but I certainly won't have to worry about keeping busy for the next several months. My "Keep It Clean!" session seems to still have some legs, after four years, and I'll be presenting it at two new, for me, conferences this season, ITE… Continue
